Question 5 - What would you do if you were a billionaire?
1. Give a couple million to cancer research

3. Build a really awesome school for kids with learning differences - lots of hands on labs, workshops, kitchens, studios, computer labs...
4. Go on an African photo safari
5. Go whale watching in one of those teeny tiny boats

Thanks E for letting me dream a little! If you haven't checked out her blog, make sure you pop over. She's got a great place :) She also passed me the Blogger Buddie award when my laptop was down and out. Thanks E -- You're a great buddy to have!

I'm going to pass the tag game along to a few bloggers I've met recently. I'm looking forward to finding out more about you!
B. Miller at B. Miller Fiction
Melody Green at Melody's Musings
Laura Marcella at Wavy Lines
Lydia Kang at The Word is My Oyster

I've got a few more awards to accept. Susan Fields was kind enough to pass me the Sugar Doll award - most appropriate because she is a sweetie! Check out her blog for lots of great stuff!

Mary at the appropriately named Mary McDonald Has the Write Stuff passed the Most Excellent Blogger Award my way. This is an award Mary created with some help from her talented daughter. Thanks Mary! She's a true fan of Friday Night Lights and a lot of fun - make sure you look her blog up too!

Hope everyone enjoys a wonderul weekend - I do believe we've earned it :) Anyone have exciting plans?

Looking back and ahead five years is a big span of time. It shows you where you've been and where you want to go. (And how old you'll be!) Best of luck getting there.

Jemi Fraser said...

Thanks Theresa - it's been a good life so far & I'm hoping it keeps going along the same path :)

Thanks for tagging me! Wow... five years ago life was quite a bit different... it really does make me wonder what the next five years hold.

I didn't know that Rolo ice cream existed and think I'll have to go hunt that down now... :) I love your #2 and #3 on things you would do if you were a billionaire!

Congrats on the awards Jemi and I'll have to check out the new links. And great to learn about you more. Rolo ice-cream sounds very delicious!

Congrats on the awards!

Your first answer to question 5 is definitely something that eclipsed my mind, but will definitely be in the forefront if I ever became a billionaire! :)

Sadly, my weekend plans involve studying and studying. But hope you'll have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks Melody - and you're so very welcome :)

Rolo ice cream is a very good find! Hope they have it where you live - I only have it a couple of times a year because it is sooooo addictive!

Jemi Fraser said...

Thanks Lynn - It is delicious! And something I only buy in a cone once in a great while - too dangerous to have in the house :)

Jemi Fraser said...

Thanks Lisa! I'm getting more comfortable writing these kinds of things - and Rolo ice cream? So good!!

Jemi Fraser said...

congrats on the awards and I loved your answers! I think chocolate is mentioned in every one of these posts I've seen. That just proves it should be a food group. :)

Whalewatching, yes that's cool. Quite a big tourist business in Winterland where I live, actually. They take tourists out in big RIBs. I have a boat like that myself, own it together with two friends. Our RIB is only 21 feet, much smaller than the the ones they use for tourist trips, but damn cool to ride. We use it to watch wildlife, and just for fun racing around >:)

Cold As Heaven

Jemi Fraser said...

Cold as Heaven - that sounds like... well like a little piece of cold heaven! Lots of fun. One of these days I'll get out to the coast to do it! Can't wait :)

How much fun! I love those questions that look back on the past and towards the future. It's amazing to me to see how different I am from just a few short years ago.

Jemi Fraser said...

Beth - it is fun to see how far we have come and to dream about how far we'll go. Time does move quickly :)

VR Barkowski said...

Congrats on the well-deserved awards and for the new links! Your answers to the 'tag' questions were great, esp 3/3: 'Hope to fit in lunch' - Jemi, you deserve a break! :)

Jemi Fraser said...

VR - thanks :) You're so sweet. And lunch is always a nice surprise when it happens!

Sage Ravenwood said...

Loved reading your answers, especially the one on a group home. I grew up in a bad situation and can appreciate someone caring for the strays, as I used to call myself. (Hugs)Indigo

Jemi Fraser said...

Thanks Indigo - I was lucky - I grew up in a home with a lot of love and high expectations. Not all kids are so lucky and it's wrong. Every child has the right to grow up in safety and in love. One of these days it will happen.

That was fun. Congrats on the awards.

Patricia Stoltey said...

Have you noticed we all put chocolate on our snack list? I love that.

Jemi Fraser said...

Patricia - me too! I love all kinds of chocolate.

I'm the only one in my family who does like it though which I find really, really odd!
